The upper deck of the Lagoon 440 is well equipped with an airy, high ceilinged comfortable lounge and kitchen dining area with a full oven, gas top cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, plenty of worktop space to prepare food and a beautiful sea view through one of the many 180° windows. There is also ample kitchen storage on board.
The Catamaran has a long seating area surrounding a narrow coffee table whereby both sides of comfortable white leather seats look out to sea or Ibizan coastline, through either side of the cruiser. There are 4 separate washrooms for each of the double cabins, as well as a lower deck desk space for work, study or filling out the skipper’s journal. All spaces are well lit, ventilated with fans and each cabin contains a TV.
Outside, under shade, to hide from the sun, there is a second seating area with table and a sink. This leads to the steps on the transoms of either hull or safe and easy access to the water – to make the most out of the snorkels and inflatables whilst on the charter boat in Ibiza.
At the rear, there is also a winch for dinghy or tender attachments to get you in to shore nice and dry whilst the boat is moored by an anchor. At the bow is the trampoline mesh: perfect for tanning in direct sunlight and staying cool with the splash of the waves from underneath.
The Catamaran will comfortably do 350 nautical miles a day with good winds to allow you to maximize the charter experience from Ibiza and Formentera. What’s more, the Lagoon 440 makes sailing easy due to the shallow hulls meaning running aground, avoiding shoals, reefs and rocks are less of a problem, even in shallow water.
